My Gear

Before I thought that gears are not that important 'cause I've always believed on skills until there's a situation when I wish I had a particular lens on a particular situation so I stopped kidding myself and embraced the fact that pro-grade glass can make my life much easier. Now I only use top of the line gears from the Nikon line-up (could have been Canon or something else). It's important to understand how every camera equipment plays a part on my shooting style. A kit-lens (loved mine but had to let it go) can produce good photos but not as good as taken from a pro-grade ones. Like in freehand drawing - different grades of pencil for different lines and strokes to produce an impressive piece of art. Let's not forget about the skills - a good photographer with not-so-good gears can still produce better photos than a dud with a high-end camera - like a machine-gun with no ammo is useless. If you want to capture the best moments in your life, capture it with the best equipment for best results (no compromise), besides no client will take you seriously of you don't have the right stuff. Not all is blessed with high-end equipment so make the best out of what you got right now. It takes hard work, skills and dedication to reach our goals.

Here's a list of my current and former gear I've used for the past few years of photography from the basic compact camera up to the professional digital SLR camera and pro lenses. Every photogrpher always has to start on something so don't be ashamed of your bridge camera or entry level digital SLR these humble equipment will lead you in the wonderful world of photography. It doesn't matter if you're using a kit lens or a super zoom pro lens as long as you know what your doing and you know how to properly utilize your gear then you're good to go. Upgrade if you feel like going to the next level or doing it as a profession or part-time job. Enjoy photography, enjoy life.
